Major U.S. Airline

Role Lead Designer Platform iOS, Progressive Web Users Pilots & Flight Attendants

Lextech was brought in by a major technology partner to help the airline create a communication platform for Pilots and Flight Attendants, after stakeholders grew unhappy with internal projects.
Working with the Pilot union and a core group of users, we designed and delivered ECS for iPad, iPhone and progressive web within the contract-dictated time limit.
Created a vision concept for the future integrated crew experience.

Lextech · 2020 – 2023

Global Biopharma Company

Role Lead Designer Platform iOS, Mac Users Managers & Sales Reps

GPro unifies sales data from multiple sources and visualizes it, so people can measure brand performance, identify prescribing trends, and collaborate on sales strategy.
Through research, stakeholder education, and a dedicated core group of users, we delivered the first release of GPro for the HIV sales force.
Created all the training and marketing materials for launch and subsequent releases, including user guides, email templates, release videos, and branding elements.

U.S. Low-Cost Airline

Role Lead Designer Platform iOS, Android, Web Users Pilots, Flight Attendants & Admins

CrewHub is a day-of-flight and schedule management tool used by nearly 30,000 Pilots and Flight Attendants at the airline.
CrewHub replaced a popular crew-created homebrew app, causing union pushback and low adoption until must-have features were implemented.
Working closely with users in production, the team delivered features and performance that enhanced quality of life for the airline's crew.

Lextech · 2012 – 2016

National Automotive Retailer

Role Lead Designer Platform iOS, Android, Web Users Consumer & Enterprise

The company is a Fortune 500 automotive and powersports retailer operating 145 locations across the US.
Designed a connected suite of apps that let a salesperson complete a sale in under an hour, by themselves, on their iPad.
Redesigned the 20-foot Imagine Bar interactive wall that "does nothing," per the president's review, after its initial installation by another company.

A career spent making complicated things make sense.

I've spent the last 15 years leading product design for Fortune 500 teams - automotive retail, commercial aviation, and pharma - always the same job underneath: sit with the people doing the work, figure out what's actually slowing them down, and design something they'll trust enough to change how they work. I'm currently a Senior UX/UI Designer looking for the next wave to catch.
